Microsoft 365 Managed Support

Keep business solutions useful after launch through agreed ownership, troubleshooting, documentation and a prioritized improvement backlog.

The engagement

Keep the environment working after the project ends.

Organizations searching for Microsoft 365 managed services may need very different kinds of help. W.I.S.E. focuses this conversation on scoped platform and solution sustainment: the SharePoint experiences, applications and workflows that support everyday business operations.

Define what support actually covers

A support boundary should identify the specific sites, apps, flows, integrations and administrator tasks involved. It should also distinguish an incident, a routine change and a new development request.

An initial review can document the current owners, connections, known issues and critical dependencies. This helps establish whether an ongoing engagement is appropriate and what must be stabilized first.

A scope built around your business solutions

Potential work includes troubleshooting, administrator guidance, permissions review, documentation updates, targeted enhancements and lifecycle improvements. A prioritized backlog connects maintenance decisions to the work the business needs to perform.

Where an internal IT team or existing managed service provider already owns infrastructure, W.I.S.E. can discuss a complementary solution-engineering role rather than creating competing lines of responsibility.

Know what is not being promised

This page is not an offer of a bundled 24/7 help desk, endpoint management, security operations center, unlimited support or guaranteed response time. No such coverage is represented as a standard W.I.S.E. service.

Support hours, response targets, exclusions, commercial terms and escalation responsibilities must be agreed in writing for any engagement. Microsoft licensing, incident response and third-party administration are not implicitly included.

Make support transferable

The goal of sustainment is to reduce dependence on undocumented knowledge. Administrator notes, decision records and repeatable troubleshooting steps help the client understand what is changing and why.

Start by identifying the solutions that are most difficult to maintain and the support gap your current arrangements do not address. The discovery conversation can determine whether you need a focused remediation project, an ongoing scope or a different type of provider.

Potential deliverables

The final scope is agreed before delivery. Depending on the engagement, it can include:

  • Defined solution inventory and support boundary
  • Known-issue and improvement backlog
  • Ownership and escalation documentation
  • Agreed sustainment and change process

Common questions

Is W.I.S.E. a full-service, 24/7 MSP?

This website does not advertise that coverage. The focus here is scoped Microsoft 365 platform and solution engineering. Any service levels must be agreed for the specific engagement.

Can you support a solution you did not originally build?

Possibly, after a review of its architecture, access, documentation, dependencies and support requirements. Acceptance into scope is not automatic.

Can you work alongside our existing MSP?

That can be discussed. A clear division between infrastructure support, tenant administration and custom solution ownership is important before work begins.

Before you scope the work

Microsoft 365 consulting or managed services: which do you need?

A practical way to distinguish a project that changes the environment from a service that keeps an agreed part of it running.
